This policy explains which cookies and similar browser technologies WasteGrid uses today.

WasteGrid uses essential security and session cookies in normal platform operation.

If analytics is configured for the environment and you opt in via the banner, Google Analytics cookies may also be set. Your preference choice is currently stored in browser local storage rather than in a separate cookie.

Based on the current application setup, WasteGrid uses essential cookies as standard and may conditionally enable analytics cookies only after consent.

3. Browser Storage and Consent Preferences

WasteGrid currently stores your analytics consent choice in browser local storage using the key wg_cookie_consent_v1. This is not a cookie, but it performs a similar preference function so that the banner can remember whether you accepted analytics or chose necessary-only operation.

If you clear your browser storage or site data, the consent banner may be shown again and your previous choice may be removed.

No advertising cookies are active by default.

Where Google Analytics is configured, third-party analytics cookies are activated only after consent and can be turned off by revisiting your cookie preferences or clearing site data in your browser.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login and secure forms from working correctly.

Where the cookie preference control is shown on the site, you can use it to revisit your analytics choice. You can also clear browser cookies and local storage for the site at any time.
